  Things To Do Around Bewicke

Hallaton is one of England's most picturesque villages and the centre of three glorious circular walks. It is in close proximity to the historic market town of Oakham, Uppingham and Market Harborough.

You can enjoy good fishing at Eybrook Reservoir or Rutland Water, where you will also find numerous watersports as well as cycles for hire. Rockingham has both the beauty of it's Castle and the excitement of it's Speedway track to delight and entertain visitors.

Hallaton Village is famous for its Hare Pie Scrambling and Bottle Kicking Contest, which is celebrated every Easter Monday between Hallaton and the neighbouring village of Medbourne.

Other tourist attractions include the magnificient Norman Church of St. Michael and All Angels, a quaint award winning museum, and Castle Hill Motte and Bailey.
